How can I be smart with my money? Well there is an obvious answer….Budget it of course. But what if this is your first time to have the privilege of financial Independence? This is NOT your first time to be financially independent, well maybe you just need to refinance a few debts and adjust your living habits. Let’s take a look at each of these one at a time. I CAN FINALLY BUY WHAT I WANT WHEN I WANT! This is a horrible mind frame to be in, so if you think this on a daily basis now may be a good time to try and adjust your frame of mind. A more financially savvy way of thinking would be “I HAVE THE ABILITY TO PURCHASE ANYTHING I WANT, I JUST HAVE TO PLAN FOR IT!” A new home, a new car, a bigger and more comfortable bed, nicer kitchen appliances, more SPACE, nicer clothes for my new job…etc. we prioritize two lists. The first list is what we NEED: 1. bigger living space, 2. bigger, better bed 3. new or newer cars. See what was done there? We can’t get a bigger bed until we have a bigger place to keep that bed. So we prioritized a bigger living space as #1, then the bed, and then we decided we don’t have to necessarily have BRAND NEW cars, we could do with used. The good thing about a used car is that the value doesn’t drop immediately once you drive it off the lot! It’s alway good to have a “go-to” guy for advice. Because no one could describe clearly what’s the meaning of “new” and “enough”. Only our self controlling which could now what that’s real mean.. Be wisely to our money, because we don’t know when we need to spend our unpredicted and emergency.

In business world, Based on business characteristic, there are 3 type of businessman :

Hunter

Hunter type is a businessman who has a great business feeling. They know where they could find a new business chance. Good hunter always had good relationship with many kind of business owner. With their great relation, they could learn new business, new project. They also has a lot of decision maker’s friends which could help him to find or get some conclusion.

Gambler

Gambler type, is a businessman which always take a high risk when he see a new chance business opportunity. He always has a budget for a new business even which he never know before. Just based on other people business, they could do the same business without any based knowledge about that business. Some people called this gambler as SPECULATOR.

CEO

CEO is a kind of businessman who always do some research and has enough basic knowledge about their job. He always hear people’s opinion, now matter what is their social status. Usually he has a great responbility to build their business and make their business growing up in their control.

Every organization has to manage its strategy in three main areas:

1. Internal resources

2. external environment

3. the organization’s ability to add value to what is does

Corporate strategy can be seen as the linking process between management of the organization’s internal resources and external relationship with its customers, suppliers, competitors and the economic and social environment.

There are a lot of features from Google search engine that can help us to find everything we search. Among of you might be already knew it.

Some of Google features are:

1. Simple math calculation

   Google search engine can do some simple math calculation (+, -, *, /) because Google has a function as a calculator. Type a number that you want to count with the operator on the search box. Example : 5+3*5, then press enter.

2. Currency conversion

   Currency conversion features is also available in Google search engine. Type the number, followed with the currency that you want to be converted from certain currency to wanted currency. 100 USD in EUR, then press enter

3. See time in every city in the world

   You can know local time in a city or country. Only type “time in [city/country]” in the search box to find local time in a city/country easily. As an example: “time in Barcelona”

4. Unit conversion

   besides as a calculator, Google can convert unit. As an example: “100 inch in meter”

5. Spelling check

   Google also has a facility to check spelling. Spelling for nouns like names and places which possibly do not appear on spelling check program or standard dictionary.

Some marketer wants to improve their selling with giving a present to the customer. But they are also afraid they will get loss. That thing can happen because they do not know the effective way. Giving a present without an effective way can give your business a big loss.

There is a way that you can give a present effectively. Find a present that looks expensive. If it is possible, look for a present that exclusive and others do not have it. Then give a rule or sales program for customer who wants to get that present. For example, for some amount of buying, buyers can buy the present “cheaper” (That price is cheaper than normal price, but still more expensive than bought price).

   Managing your cash flow well, can prevent you from financial crisis globally (business) or individually (family).

   A smart man is a man that can manage his cash flow in his daily financial life. We have to have enough cash for our next 3 months life, without lowering our life style. By that, we can be told that we are free financially.

2. Manage your system

   Successful and reach man is a man that is very smart in managing his system. Because nature moves using a system. It is the same with our life. A man who is smart in managing the system and learn from nature has a potential to become a rich man and successful. Some system that we can control to get success are operational system, financial system, and marketing system.

3. Manage your relationship

   Having good relationship to anyone can make you become very rich and successful. Also, a good company is a company that can manage relationships between their suppliers and customers. If those things run well, then company’s profit will increase.

Whatever your job or your position right now, as a staff, journalist, farmer, director, CEO, or even the owner of a company, you must have a financial breakthrough. Is it true that customer is the king? Customer is the heart of each business. From them, all business activities get their fresh blood flow which is currently called “positive cash flow” which gives energy for business activity entities.

Because of that, it is common if most activities and resources from the business entities are focused on “saving” their customer. Of course it is used for the business to grow.

Having said about “saving” the customer, it means that we talk how to satisfy them and save them, or even lift the level of satisfaction up. All businessmen who really understand that their customers are also their assets will do this. If the level of satisfaction reach at certain point, they want to get more and more. To reach that point, it is fair if the business entities have consequence to spend some money to satisfy their customers.

Referring to the first argument, that cost must be spent to keep our customers from business entities.

But the question is does the cost equal with what the companies get. After analyzing this question much further, the cost which already spent to keep the customers with the way to satisfy them can be higher than the contribution of the customers themselves.

From that way of thinking, It raises a thought to separate the customers into some categories. With separating the customers, the business entities can optimize their cost to certain categories of customers which give significant contribution to the company.

These are the categories:

1. Vulnerable customers

   These customers have big contribution to the company, but these customers only get bad service from the company. Customers in this category, potentially can be disappointed and move to another product. If this thing happens, it means a big lost to the company.

2. Lost Causes

   Customers that give low contribution to the company and those customer only get average service. It is not fair if the company gives best service to this type if the company expect more contribution from this type of customer.

3. Free Riders

   This type of customer only gives low contribution, but because of one and another thing, they get “more” from the company. Keeping this type of company will give more loss to the company and prevent the company to give better service to others.

4. King for the company

   This type of customer gives high contribution to the company and they get best service from the company. The plane’s passenger of executive class is one example of this type of customer. This type of customer is not much, but gives significant contribution to the company.

If the company already have a plan to allocate their cost and have a program to satisfy and keep their customer by treating them as king, be sure that the company only treats the truly king as a king.
